A lengthy one today, but also pretty scrollable, for you to pick and choose what you fancy, so stick with it in your email by extending the preview, or hop over to The Navigation home page or Substack app 💌
When I pulled together the 2023 end of year round up, it was a lovely way to reflect on all that I had written, how themes and topics ebbed and flowed through the year, and give newer readers an easy way to dive into the archives with anything that takes their fancy.
And so, as I wind down for the festive period, I’m back again to share all that I’ve written (and recorded!) through 2024, mainly for
, but elsewhere on Substack too. While I’m sure you won’t be short of reading material over the next few weeks, while I down tools until January, I hope there’ll be something new for you to read with a cuppa here, as you start to wind down too.
For the most loyal of readers, who never miss a post (what gems you are!) there is something new for you too…
Just this week,
While The Rejection Palace may not be the most festive of reads, it does, I think, encourage much reflection, which is a big part of what this time of year is all about. I hope it offers you something meaningful, but if you take one look at the trigger warnings thoughtfully included and it doesn’t feel like the right time, that’s totally fine too. 💗
Congratulations to fellow authors in this collection, including
, , , , , , , and .I write to you this morning having left the big city, and am back at home in Wales for the Christmas break. The out of office is firmly on, the books are stacked high, the good coffee is on tap, and my journal and pen are close by (there’s still time to order your Goodbye 2024/Hello 2025 journal from
before the year is out!).This is the vibe I am settling into this weekend, and plan to luxuriate in for the next week or so, until I head to Tuscany, Italy, to celebrate the new year with my partner, who is already there visiting his family. Planning for an overseas venture at this time of year has felt at odds with my usual December processes - and packing for two trips in one, plus gifts, is no mean feat! - but it feels good to embrace something different.
Navigating a journey of a new kind.
Thank you all so much for being on this journey here with me, it means more than you know to feel supported in this space I am carving out to write.
💫 And a special sprinkle of gratitude to those of you who have chosen to become a paid subscriber, and/or fuel this writing with cups of Ko-fi coffee! I cannot thank you enough for all your encouragement, online and offline, and your belief in me that I can really make this something. THANK YOU! 💫
Wishing you a very joyful couple of weeks ahead, for all those who celebrate in this season, and, whatever the reason, to all those who don’t.
And now, on with the round up!
